General Wire Spring 450EM3

Cleaning machines

The 450EM3 is a drum style drain and sewer cleaning machine made by General Wire Spring, built to feed a cable of around 15 metres into pipework to clear blockages. It is designed as a portable, electrically powered unit for plumbers and drain cleaning contractors handling small to medium diameter sewer lines. The model sits in the compact end of the maker's sectional and drum machine range, valued for simple operation and durability.

Built

since 2007

We recognise this model across the auction sites and keep every one we see together.

On a used one

Check the condition of the cable for kinks, rust or wear and test the drum drive and clutch mechanism for smooth operation. Ask about the motor and cable guide condition, as these wear with heavy use.
