Leitz Summicron

IT, phones and consumer electronics

Summicron is Leitz's designation for a line of fast standard and wide angle lenses with a maximum aperture of f2, made for Leica screw mount and later M mount rangefinder cameras. The best known versions are the 50mm and 35mm focal lengths, prized for their compact size and sharp rendering. They sit among the premium optics in Leica's range, below the faster Summilux and Noctilux lenses.
