Flex GE 5

Woodworking machines

The Flex GE 5 is a wall and ceiling sander, often called a giraffe sander because of its long pole shape. It is used by plasterers and painters to sand drywall joints and ceilings without the need for scaffolding or ladders, usually paired with dust extraction. It is an electric powered machine aimed at professional finishing trades.

since 2022

We recognise this model across the auction sites and keep every one we see together.

On a used one

Check the sanding head and backing pad for wear, test the motor and speed control, and confirm the dust extraction hose connections and switch are intact.

About Flex

Flex is a German maker of professional power tools, based in Steinheim an der Murr near Stuttgart. It is known for its angle grinders, so much so that the name became the everyday German word for one, and also makes polishers, drywall sanders, mixers and dust extractors. The brand has belonged to the Chinese tool group Chervon since 2013.
