Mercedes-Benz 300SEL

The 300SEL is a full size luxury saloon from Mercedes-Benz, built on the long wheelbase W109 platform as the flagship of the Fintail era range. It offered air suspension, upmarket trim and larger engines than the standard W108 saloons, including six cylinder and later V8 units. The most famous variant is the 300SEL 6.3, fitted with the big M100 V8 from the 600 limousine, giving it remarkable performance for a luxury car of its day.
