Saab 9-5

Cars

The Saab 9-5 is a large executive saloon and estate produced by the Swedish maker, sitting at the top of its passenger car range above the 9-3. It was offered with turbocharged four cylinder and V6 engines, including the well known 2.3T units, and the Aero trim gave sportier suspension and more power. Known for a comfortable ride and distinctive Scandinavian styling, it was also offered as the SportCombi estate.

Saab was a Swedish car maker from Trollhättan, which grew out of the aircraft maker Saab and built cars from the late 1940s until 2011. It was known for its turbocharged engines, safety and distinctive designs such as the 96, the 900, the 9-3 and the 9-5. Car production ended after the company went bankrupt in 2011.
