The Golf Cabriolet is a compact convertible derived from the Volkswagen Golf hatchback, offering open top motoring with everyday practicality. It was built across several Golf generations, often based on the Mk1 bodyshell for longer than the hatchback it derived from, and later revived on the Mk6 platform. It sits as the drop top member of the Golf family, aimed at buyers wanting Golf reliability with a folding roof.
