Jaguar XK 120

Cars

The Jaguar XK 120 is the sports car that launched the twin cam Jaguar XK straight six engine of 3.4 litres in 1948. The number referred to its claimed top speed of 120 mph, and it was built as an open two seater, a fixed head coupe and a drophead coupe. It made Jaguar's name in racing and rallying in the early 1950s.

Hammer prices are what the auction house recorded when the lot closed, before the buyer's premium, in the currency of the sale. A sale listed on a house's own site and on its platform counts once. Doubt a figure? Open the sale and its listing is linked there. How prices are recorded.
