MG Midget 1500

Cars

The MG Midget 1500 is the final version of MG's small two-seat roadster, fitted with a 1493cc engine shared with the Triumph Spitfire. It replaced the earlier 1275cc A-series engined Midget and adopted black polyurethane bumpers to meet US safety regulations. It sits at the entry level of MG's sports car range, offering open-top motoring in a lightweight, simple package.

Check for rust in the sills, floors, boot floor and rear wheel arches, as these cars corrode badly. Verify the condition of the rubber bumpers and their mountings, and check the gearbox and rear axle for wear and noise.

Is a MG Midget 1500 at auction now?

Are the MG Midget 1500 hammer prices free to read?
